B Corp certified — Personal care products
While BAOBAB demonstrates strong material choices and transparency, we could not find evidence of a formal lifetime repair program or take-back initiative—areas where heritage apparel brands often distinguish themselves. Supply chain documentation appears country/factory-level rather than farm-to-finished-product tracing. Marketing presence leans modern/direct-to-consumer rather than investment-piece positioning, which may attract faster consumption cycles than befits the quality. Expansion of resale or rental partnerships would amplify the longevity narrative already embedded in the product design.
Every brand on Oras is independently researched across five pillars: material quality, construction and craftsmanship, longevity and repairability, sustainability and ethics, and design philosophy. We use a consistent framework so you can compare brands meaningfully.
Oras does not sell products directly. We connect you to the brand's own site. We may earn a small affiliate commission, but this never influences our research or which brands we feature.
