Oras is an independent research platform for brands and products. We document materials, construction, sustainability, and design so shoppers can make purchases they stand behind. Oras does not sell products directly — we link to third-party brand websites where purchases are made.
You may create an account to save favorites, build collections, and personalize your experience. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
Product descriptions, prices, and availability are sourced from third-party brand websites and may not always be current. Oras is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party product information, pricing, or availability. All purchases are made directly with the brand — Oras is not a party to those transactions.
Some shop links on Oras are affiliate links routed through Skimlinks. If you make a purchase after clicking one, Oras may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We disclose this relationship in compliance with FTC 16 CFR Part 255. Affiliate commissions never influence which brands we feature, how we score them, or which products we curate.
Oras rates brands across six criteria: Built to Last, Sustainably Made, Ethically Produced, Eco-Conscious, Certified & Transparent, and Timeless & Meaningful. These ratings reflect our independent assessment and are provided for informational purposes only.
All content on Oras — including text, design, logos, and ratings — is owned by Oras and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Product images and brand names belong to their respective owners.

Oras is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to one hundred United States dollars (USD 100). We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including purchases made through linked third-party websites.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Oras will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
If you believe content on Oras infringes your copyright, send a DMCA takedown notice to support@liveoras.com including: the work claimed to be infringed, the URL of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury. We act on valid notices promptly.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Oras after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
