What to Consider
Materials & Construction
- ·Cashmere — Softer and lighter than wool but more delicate. Quality cashmere (look for long-fiber, 2-ply) pills less and can last a decade with care.

Longevity & Care
- ·Cashmere — Hand wash cold or dry clean. Store folded, never hung — hangers stretch the shoulders. Pilling is normal early on — use a cashmere comb.
